Fill in the Google Form with the correct information.

The Artist's Statement should be written in English and not exceeding 250 words and submitted in PDF file.

The Artwork Description should be written in English and not exceeding 200 words and submitted in PDF file.

You will also need to submit your artwork file.

All files should be submitted in only ONE Google Drive.

A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address within 48 hours if your entry has been received.

For Best Sony Short Film, kindly provide one (1) original video clip with EXIF metadata & one (1) edited/final video.

1. Best Documentary

This award honours contestants who are capable of utilising their professional expertise to deliver top-quality factual reports. Contestants dedicated to the genre understand themselves as advocates for the subaltern, giving minorities a voice. It delves into the ability to combine information with storytelling, aesthetic activism with entertainment, and providing constructions of the factual with self-reflection.

2. Best Short Film

This award honours contestants who can deliver a complete story with a defined, narrative structure in a short time.

Only MP4 files are accepted.

The length should be within 3-10 minutes.

Only horizontal orientation is accepted.

The minimum video resolution requirement is 720p.

The video must include English subtitles.

Work submissions will only be accepted if using cameras from non-Sony brands.

Open to group entries only.
3. Best Sony Short Film

This award honours contestants who demonstrate outstanding storytelling, creativity, and technical excellence through a short film produced using Sony imaging equipment.

All submissions under this award must be captured using Sony equipment.

Only MP4 files with complete and intact EXIF metadata are accepted.
-
The length should be within 5–10 minutes.
-
Only horizontal orientation is accepted.
-
The minimum video resolution requirement is 720p.
-
The video must include English subtitles.
-
Provide one (1) original video clip with EXIF metadata and one (1) edited/final video submitted for the competition.

Failure to provide the required files or valid EXIF metadata may result in disqualification.

4. Best Short Reels Content by CMLink

This award honours contestants who create engaging short-form content while effectively showcasing the convenience of CMLink's cross-border connectivity through creative storytelling.

All submissions under this award must be created using CMLink products.

This award honours contestants who demonstrate creativity, persuasive storytelling, and effective marketing communication by producing a short video advertisement that promotes a product or service. Contestants are encouraged to showcase originality, strong branding, and audience engagement while delivering a clear advertising message.

The length should be within 30-90 seconds.

Only horizontal orientation is accepted.

The minimum video resolution requirement is 720p.

The video must include English subtitles.

Participants may promote either an existing or an original (fictional) product or service.

The content must not contain defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, or misleading material.

Open to individual and group entries.
6. Best Sin Seng Yap TV Commercial

This award honours contestants who develop memorable TV commercials that capture attention within a limited time, communicate the key message of Sin Seng Yap’s products or services, and leave a strong impression on the audience.

Use of listed products only in participant’s work:

The coffee product must be clearly visible in the video.

The Sin Seng Yap logo must be clearly visible.

There are no restrictions on the concept, scene, or setting.

The coffee product purchase fee can be waived after the submission of artwork.

Fee waiver only applies to a maximum of 2 coffee flavours, with up to 2 packets per flavour.

Participants will only receive the Fee Waiver Form upon full submission of their work and complete compliance with all Terms and Conditions.

Best Advisor Award for Videography

A recognition of exceptional dedication and mentorship, this award honours advisors or lecturers who have provided outstanding support, guidance, and inspiration to students throughout their creative journey in the competition. Students are invited to nominate an advisor who has made a significant impact on their work by providing invaluable assistance.

Each submitted entry may nominate only one advisor.
-
For each category, only one advisor will be crowned in this award.
-
The advisor nominated the most by final round nominees will win the award.
