How to Submit

Fill in the Google Form with the correct information.

The Artist's Statement should be written in English and not exceeding 250 words and submitted in PDF file.

The Artwork Description should be written in English and not exceeding 200 words and submitted in PDF file.
-
You will also need to submit your artwork file.
-
All files should be submitted in only ONE Google Drive.
-
A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address within 48 hours if your entry has been received.

For Best Sony Portrait Photo, kindly provide one (1) original image file with EXIF metadata & one (1) edited image file.

1. Best Portrait Photo
-
This award honours contestants who capture photos that showcase genuine emotions and evoke strong resonance.
-
Only JPEG files are accepted.
-
Both landscape and portrait orientations are accepted.
-
Work submissions will only be accepted if using cameras from non-Sony brands.
-
Open to individual entries only.


2. Best Sony Portrait Photo
-
This award honours contestants who capture compelling portraits that demonstrate creativity, technical excellence, and emotional expression while featuring Sony products.
-
All submissions under this award must be captured using Sony equipment.
-
Only JPEG files with complete and intact EXIF metadata are accepted.
-
Both landscape and portrait orientations are accepted.
-
Provide one (1) original image file with EXIF metadata and one (1) edited image file submitted for the competition.
-
Failure to provide the required files or valid EXIF metadata may result in disqualification.
-
Open to individual entries only.
-
1st Prize: RM1000 cash prize and a certificate.
2nd Prize: RM500 cash prize and a certificate.
3rd Prize: RM200 cash prize and a certificate.


3. Best Scenery Photo
-
This award honours contestants who capture photos that showcase the beauty and atmosphere of natural or urban surroundings.
-
Scenery should be the main subject of the photograph. Examples include mountains, beaches, forests, rivers, sunsets, buildings, streets, and city views etc.
-
Plants and flowers are allowed when they form part of the overall scenery rather than being the main subject.
-
Only JPEG files are accepted.
-
Both landscape and portrait orientations are accepted.
-
Open to individual entries only.


4. Best Photojournalism
-
This award honours contestants who capture visual representations in a narrative way that are direct, authentic, bold, and tell a humane and meaningful story.

Only JPEG files are accepted.

Both landscape and portrait orientations are accepted.

Open to individual entries only.


Best Advisor Award for Photography
-
A recognition of exceptional dedication and mentorship, this award honours advisors or lecturers who have provided outstanding support, guidance, and inspiration to students throughout their creative journey in the competition. Students are invited to nominate an advisor who has made a significant impact on their work by providing invaluable assistance.

Each submitted entry may nominate only one advisor.
-
For each category, only one advisor will be crowned in this award.
-
The advisor nominated the most by final round nominees will win the award.
