“Wakey Wakey, Take a Coffee” is a short film that captures the journey of coffee from raw beans to a perfectly brewed cup. Set in a “kampung”, the film follows the process of roasting, grinding, and brewing, culminating in a freshly made cup of coffee served to an elderly man enjoying a peaceful moment. More than just documentation of coffee-making, this film embodies the passage of time, craftsmanship, and the warmth that a simple cup of coffee can bring. Through these visuals, we aim to showcase coffee as not just a beverage, but a connection between people, carrying comfort and tradition in every sip.
